Fortech to release Downtime Viewer and OEE3+ at Las Vegas Pack Expo

September 27, 2021

It’s time to double down! Fortech is releasing it revolutionary Downtime Viewer which has been re-designed to indicate a manufacturer’s Overall Equipment Effectiveness. This twofold solution provider has been re-engineered at a cost point that provides double, possibly triple the value of competitive MES platforms.

We have joined forces with our camera and recording company, Linespex and hope to demonstrate how you can effectively capture all three metrics of OEE for a fraction of the cost of a fuill-fledged MES platform.

Keeping in mind that OEE or Overall Equipment Effectiveness can be defined by three major indices:

Typically, the type of MES platform required to provide this universal metric can cost between $200,000.00 and $1,000,000 per plant!

By installing Fortech’s Downtime Viewer and OEE3+ a plant with fewer than 10 lines can experience a true OEE calculation for as little at $80,000.00. This includes the necessary software, cameras, recording devices and installation.

From a cap X standpoint, if this total is amortized over five years for five lines, the investment fee calculates to $3,000 per year, per line.

“Nowhere in the industry can a manufacturer calculate and experience a true OEE measurement on its efficiency for this type of investment structure,” according to Kent Forsythe, CEO and founder of Fortech.

Combined with the LInespex state-of-the-art camera and recording system, not only can an accurate OEE be obtained, but management can view each root cause leading to the unplanned sops indicated by Forech’s software.

“It’s the best of both worlds,” commented Steve Marion, CEO of the Linespex corporation. “The camera and recording system can stand alone but in conjunction with the Downtime Viewer and OEE matrices, the customer is the big winner,” Marion added.

Equally important is the fact that installation can be completed by site personnel in as little as one full day.

Fortech LLC and Linespex will be sharing a booth at the 2021 Las Vegas Pack Expo held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Our shared booth is # xxxx and you are invited to experience a full demo by visiting the booth. Steve Marion and his entire team will be attending the Linespex portion of the booth. Kent Forsythe, Bruce Johnson, Director of Innovation and Terry Ellifritz, Director of Business Development will be representing Fortech LLC.
